An MPEG4 video recorder which allows you to record straight to Memorystick Duo cards has been released by Neuros, with the aim of making it easy to transfer video to mobile phones and the Sony PSP without having to do complicated video capture and conversion.

At £150 the small black and grey device is considerably more expensive than other software based solutions such as X-oom's Movies on PSP, but you don't have the requirement of a PC with the Neuros hardware, meaning you can simply record from your Satellite, DVD player or other sources such as a camcorder straight to Memorystick Pro Duo or Compact Flash card.

The Neuros MPEG4 Recorder went on sale in America earlier this year and is now available in the UK from a number of retailers, including Maplin and Amazon.co.uk.
